Rooms on the hotel back are quite silent - but you need to ask for them. Very kind and friendly staff is the asset of this place. The rooms are desinged in very lovely, old, maroccan style. There are many rooms, so probably you will always find something. No problems with very late arrival, very patient and helpful service, I received much help on the arrival at night - thank you again :)
The rooms from the street side are very noisy, some happen to have unpleasent smell from the toilette.. probably on windy days. Also the old stylish maroccan design makes the shower not very practical to use. Comfortable localization onlz if you want to spend your time on the beach. Some 15 minutes walk to the medina ramparts, along the main noisy street ... or taking a taxi. No roof terrace, no garden, open-air cafe near the busy street. For this range of price I am sure you can find much more quiet and lovely places in Essoira, in medina or rent the apartment.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and had no qualms when we asked to change our room. Although our original room was full of character and very comfortable we found the street noise disturbing at night. The room we were changed to was at the rear of the hotel and it was much, much quieter. We had really good sleep here - the block out curtains were great and the quality of linen was excellent. Breakfast (continental with omlette) was nice.
The hotel is on a main road, and the wind blows rubbish into the front courtyard. This made for a rather unslightly entrance. The hotel is a good 20+ minute walk to the medina. While close to the beach, the beach was not suitable for swimming near the hotel due to windsailing activity and very, very strong wind (which is supposedly a year round problem, except for August/September).

the hotel was located in a central area, making it easy to get around.
Our room was not up to our expectations. It was small and lacked proper isolation, so we were constantly disturbed by outside noise.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Essaouira and had a fantastic experience. the value for money was excellent, with very reasonable prices for the quality of the accommodation. The attention to detail in the hotel was evident, from the beautifully carved wood furniture to the lovely artwork in the rooms. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The location of the hotel near the port was ideal, offering easy access to the fish places and a short walk to the beach. The breakfast provided was delicious, with freshly squeezed orange juice, warm bread, Moroccan pancakes, and egg omelettes.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Had a decent continental breakfast in the charming café. Thoroughly enjoyed the well-maintained rooftop garden.Great location with easy access to shops, cafes, and restaurants.Room was clean, albeit a bit noisy due to traffic on the main road.
Room felt outdated and dimly lit, making it uncomfortable. Bathroom fixtures were old and not in the best condition.
